Run For Hope Singapore 2012 November 17, 2012

Every year, close to 10,000 new cases of cancer are diagnosed in Singapore alone. Alarmingly, 1 in 3 people are also stricken with cancer. And that is why the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) has set up the NCC Research Fund, where money collected is used to fund various cancer research programs and clinical trials to understand the cause of the various types of cancers and develop new treatments that can be used safely and effectively on patients.
Run For Hope is an annual charity run jointly organised by NCCS, The Four Seasons Hotel Singapore and Regent Singapore (A Four Seasons Hotel) in support of cancer research. Funds collected from the run go to the main NCC Research Fund for cancer research activities.
