Run Fast, Eat Slow 5K Run/Walk and Backyard Garden Grill Off September 10, 2011

Powell Gardens holds its first 5K Run/Walk, followed by an optional fun run on the nature trail. Grill Off activities begin as four local chefs demonstrate favorite ways to grill fruits and vegetables. Backyard grilling enthusiasts compete for prizes with judging by Kansas City's BBQ Queens, Karen Adler and Judith Fertig.
