Another exciting production from Britain's leading team of puppetmasters.  Based on the classic Grimms' fairytale, Rumpelstiltskin is treated to a new interpretation using the Bunraku style of puppetry.  This ancient Japanese art form combines the full movement of marionettes with the positive action of rod puppets.  The uncanny result is full human movement but with half life-size characters.  The mischievous elf-like Rumpelstiltskin weaves this mystical tale from his woodland home to fairytale palaces and dark eerie dungeons.  

Rumpelstiltskin is followed by Puppet Parade, a colourful, fast moving puppet variety show with a host of glamorous marionette characters.
