Rumi and The Spiritual Journey with Kabir and Camille Helminski

While Rumi's popularity continues to spread and grow, more people are becoming interested in a deeper understanding of his teaching. Kabir and Camille Helminski have been immersed in Rumi's tradition for more than 30 years. Their translations of Rumi and their books on Sufism have made them internationally recognized figures, and Shaikh Kabir has led the "Whirling Dervishes of Turkey" on four North American tours.

Kabir Helminski was named one of 500 most influential muslims in the world by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center in association with Georgetown University and is officially recognized as a Shaikh of the Mevlevi Order of Sufism.

Join us for an evening of conversation, music, poetry, and contemplation.

Kabir is the author/translator of three books of Sufi poetry, and Kabir and Camille have collaborated on two collections, Rumi: Daylight and Jewels of Remembrance, 365 Selections from the Wisdom of Rumi. Kabir's Living Presence, A Sufi Way to Mindfulness and the Essential Self plus several other books.
