Ruby Tuesdays: Introduction to Ruby September 23, 2008

Ruby Tuesdays is ThoughtWorks regular language learning event (with a heavy emphasis on the Ruby, natch).

This session aims to take a complete novice through what Ruby is, the flavours of Ruby available, installing Ruby on your system and a quick tour through the basic programming knowledge you need to write your first Ruby.

The aim of the evening is to get people up to speed on the language so they can participate in other Ruby community events.
