Guelph-based indie rock band Royal City will appear with Josh Ritter and Scott Hutchison and as part of WFUV’s The Valentine’s Day Brawl. Formed in 1999, Royal City has toured extensively across Canada, and, in 2003, the band played in Sufjan Stevens’ living room. In early 2009, Stevens’ Asthmatic Kitty records released “A Belly Was Made for Wine,” a song from the band’s upcoming b-sides release, Royal City.
