Bring your dancing shoes and friends for and evening for slide guitar fans. Virtuoso, slide guitar player and Grammy-winning producer Roy Rogers will be performing at Georges in San Rafael with his band The Delta Rhythm Kings on Friday, March 3,2012.

Rogers has been on the Billboard Chart consistently with each new CD release, and has been featured in Rolling Stones Magazine, People Magazine, USA Today, Guitar Player, Acoustic Guitar, Blues Revue and many other media outlets for decades. His consistent and exhilarating live performances have helped him receive worldwide acclaim as one of the best slide guitar players performing today.

He has garnered multiple Grammy (8) nominations for his work as a songwriter and producer for his one-time boss John Lee Hooker and for friend Ramblin' Jack Elliott, and he’s received numerous accolades for songwriting (with Bonnie Raitt and others.) Rogers has performed with Carlos Santana, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Steve Miller, John Lee Hooker, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Sammy Hagar and many others.
