Roy Miki is the author of several books of poetry including There (2007), Surrender (winner of the 2002 Governor General's Award for poetry), Random Access File (1995), and Saving Face (1991). His nonfiction books include Redress: Inside the Japanese Canadian Call for Justice, and Broken Entries: Race Subjectivity Writing (1998). In 2006, he was made a Member of the Order of Canada.
