Oakland was blessed this past week with Roy Hargrove' s spirit filled performances (yes performances...I went twice....can't get enough of a good thing)....many meaningful yet to be recorded songs were shared....love the one that came in a dream while in a small room in Paris (it had a 'lil funk on it.).........jazz feeds my 30+ "old soul"....and I love seeing brothas keep our legacy alive......I wish he'd update his website so we'd know what else was in the works....tryin to get in a jazz festival this summer!........
