Join Clara and her Nutcracker on their enchanting voyage to the Land of the Sweets. Young Clara has received a beautiful wooden Nutcracker as a Christmas gift from the mysterious party guest, Herr Drosselmyer. After everyone else goes to sleep, Clara creeps downstairs to see her gift and finds herself in the midst of a furious fight between the Mouse King and the Nutcracker and his soldiers. After his hard won victory, Clara and the Nutcracker go on a magical trip to the Land of the Sweets where they see dancing Snowflakes, the Sugar Plum Fairy and her handsome Cavalier, the Waltz of the Flowers and other sweet treats.

Roxey Ballet's production includes not only the professional dancers of the company but also children and adults from the community, dancing the roles of the party goers, the mice and Mother Ginger and her polichinelles. This American Classic is a truely magical treat for the entire family.
