Rosine Smith Sammons Butterfly House and Insectarium Grand Opening Weekend September 12, 2009

The butterflies are here! Celebrate butterflies, bugs, and botany with us as we unveil our year-round butterfly house. WFAA’s Gloria Campos will kick off the weekend with a ribbon cutting at 9:45 a.m. and timed tickets to the Butterfly House will begin soon after. Children’s crafts by the Junior League of Dallas and performances by local entertainers including the Lake Highlands Wildcat Wranglers and John Rainone, butterfly balloon artist, will entertain families all weekend. James French photography will be on hand to help families commemorate the occasion.
