Rosina is a contemporary artist, whose work explores the world of dreams, where fantasy prevails and normality is turned upside down. She combines a variety of elements which include cuddly toys, dolls and internal organs to explore what exists beneath the surface of society, where the seemingly innocent can hide a sinister intent.
She enjoys using textiles due to the versatility of the medium and the possibilities of stitch. Her work explores colour, tactility and plays with the usual cosy associations of textiles.
Rosina studied the Diploma of H.E. in Stitched Textiles at East Berkshire College, Windsor and the B.A. Hons Fine Art at Chichester University. She has taken part in many group exhibitions throughout the South East and this is her first solo show.
