Rosie O'Donnell Premieres America February 24, 2009

This emotional Lifetime Original movie follows a troubled seventeen-year-old named America (newcomer Philip Johnson) as he is about to "age out" of the only life he has known, being raised within the country's imperfect foster care system. Rosie O'Donnell not only plays the teen's therapist but also serves as executive producer and receives her first dramatic writing credit for adapting E. R. Frank's book along with Joyce Eliason. O'Donnell and other members of the cast and creative team will appear to discuss the movie.
