Roots and Shoots, a national organization that was started by primatologist, environmentalist and humanitarian Dr. Jane Goodall has begun at the Kansas City Zoo. Become a conservationist in your community. Roots and Shoots is for children ages 10 and older, with a parent, who are interested in helping the environment.
