The Rooster Challenge Road Rally for the Cure is for anyone that has a passion for automobiles, and likes to help raise funds to drive awareness of breast cancer. Rooster Challenge is a non-profit organization that hosts events to raise money for breast cancer awareness and research. Proceeds from the event stay locally, by being donated back to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Greater
Cincinnati Chapter.
The event will take place on October 9th and 10th, 2010. But what is the Rooster Challenge? In a nutshell, it is a weekend driving event consisting of closed track drag racing, VIP after parties, a stellar Car Show, and a kick-ass road rally. The rally winners take home cash and prizes, and all participants will leave with some excellent swag as well. The Rooster is a Bullrun/Gumball3000 type event that is geared towards the weekend warrior and auto enthusiast that doesn't have a week to take off work and a half million dollar exotic car to thrash. It is an auto rally for the average Joe and is open to anyone that wants to enter. The end goal is to have fun and raise money for breast cancer.
They will be hosting a tri-state car show on site at MD Speed while the rally is taking place. Feel free to bring your ride down and show it off. All they ask is a small donation at the gate, or pre-register on site to save a couple bucks. So bring down your iron, let's see what you've got. Along with the car show, they will have music all day, lots of food and drink, as well as bounce houses for the kids. So bring the family down!
