Room to Read - Cocktails & Conversation with John Wood November 1, 2006

This is a cocktail fundraising event to welcome John Wood, founder of Room to Read. His memoir, Leaving Microsoft to Change the World, has been lauded by many as "the most inspiring book I've ever read!".

Room to Read builds schools, libraries and computer/language labs in Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Sri Lanka, India and South Africa. They also provide scholarships to girls who would otherwise not be able to attend school. To learn more, visit www.roomtoread.org

The entrance to the Carnegie Building is on the north side opposite the Convention Center.
It is under the main stairs, just below street level.
If you have difficulty finding it, look for the driveway---it is the only driveway on the entire block.
