This Summer 2006 Rooftop Films will host 48 screenings of new, independent short and feature-length films in a variety of outdoor locations all around New York, including the roof of the Old American Can Factory in Gowanus (Brooklyn) and the roof of Downtown Community TV in TriBeCa (Manhattan). Films include a range of comedy, drama, personal documentary, political documentary, youth films, experimental films, animation, music videos and more. Dates: Screenings take place Thursdays, Friday, and Saturdays all summer long from June 1 through September 23, plus the 4th of July and other special events.
Time: Screenings feature live music at 8pm and films from 9-11pm.
Cost: Admission is generally $8-10, with select shows either a higher price or free.
