Rooftop Films will be doing more than 45 outdoor events this summer, but we recognize that most of our events take place at night well after the sun sets, a schedule that doesn't always work well for kids and families. So on Saturday, April 16th, Rooftop Films will be presenting a program of short independent films for kids in the auditorium at M.S. 51 on Fifth Avenue in Park Slope. There is no charge for admission and the screening is open to all.
This program will be a Rooftop Films-style twist on films for kids, featuring family friendly, fun, smart, shorts from all over the world. There will be wild animation featuring knights, birds, cowboys, robots, monkeys, dragons, people made of sand and snow and all sorts of other creatures that are too crazy to describe. Not only that, there will also be live action films with ping pong balls flying all over the place, and more.
