Roof Terrace Restaurant celebrates Harvest Celebration wine tasting October 22, 2010

The Roof Terrace Restaurant at the Kennedy Center will hold a Harvest Celebration-themed wine tasting reception as part of its new monthly series. In honor of the Harvest Celebration that is still a tradition in many parts of France, Germany and Austria, the restaurant invites wine aficionados and neophytes alike to rejoice in the end of the harvest and the welcoming of new vintages. Amidst stunning city views, guests will enjoy the prominent biodynamic and organic wines of France’s Alsace region; Germany’s Mosel, Pfalz, and Rheingau regions; and Austria’s Burgenland. In addition, the Roof Terrace Restaurant will have live music and regionally inspired fare provided by Executive Chef Joe Gurner.
