Santa Claus is coming to town early again this season, parking his reindeer and sled atop the world-famous Kennedy Center for the Roof Terrace Restaurant’s 14th Annual Sunday Brunches with Santa and the KC Café’s first ever Saturdays with Santa. On Sunday, November 28th, December 12th and December 19th, the Roof Terrace welcomes families to gather amidst live jazz music and magnificent skyline views for its beloved holiday brunches. During brunch, patrons can visit with Old St. Nick to share their holiday wish list and receive a special momento.
A Washington DC area tradition for years, the holiday Sunday brunch buffet allows guests to enter the restaurant’s expansive kitchen to choose from an array of delicious items, including freshly baked pastries, seasonal gourmet salads, freshly shucked oysters, French toast and made-to-order omelets. The kids table will feature childhood favorites like macaroni and cheese, French fries and chicken fingers and each adult will receive a complimentary mimosa or glass of sparkling wine.
“We know that quality time with loved ones is few and far between these days, and so we’re happy to provide families with a holiday tradition that they can look forward to for years to come,” says Restaurant Associates General Manager Jeff Wingate.
In addition, Santa will make appearances at the KC Café, located adjacent to the Roof Terrace Restaurant at the Kennedy Center, on several Saturdays leading up to Christmas Eve for anyone who misses out on the Roof Terrace’s brunch. On Saturday, November 27th, December 4th, December 11th and December 18th, families can enjoy a variety of holiday sweets and beverages, including hot chocolate and apple cider, while visiting with Santa at the café as he passes out presents from his big red sack. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 202.416.8555 or visiting www.roofterracerestaurant.com or www.opentable.com.
