Actor and author McLarty (The Memory of Running, Traveler) has written a funny, heartwarming book about a down-and-out writer who falls in love and finally meets success. Steven Kearney, a middle-aged, fumbling writer, ends up in exile as a playwright in residence in what seems like a quiet Colorado town. Upon arrival, he finds the town in upheaval and realizes he must do his part to make things right.
