Romeo and Juliet’s doomed love and their warring families inspire us to examine why and how we love, and the lengths to which we are willing to go to get what we want.

The play begins with the funeral of the pair, with the six surviving characters (Capulet and Lady Capulet, Lady Montague, Friar Laurence, Benvolio and Prince Escalus of Verona), wondering what could have caused such a tragedy.

Featuring 6 actors and 18 characters, identities shift in the blink of an eye and text, music and image collide to reveal Shakespeare’s masterpiece in a brand new light.
