Original works by noted impressionist artists including Alson Clark, Guy Rose and Joseph Kleitsch make up this exhibit from The Irvine Museum. These artists of the late 1800s and early 1900s captured a vision of weathered adobe walls, red-tiled roofs and tranquil arcades that would shape a romantic vision of California's Spanish-era past for a century to come. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the missions while viewing the work of some of California's finest plein air painters.
