Roller derby is back in town! After a successful start to the 2009 season, the Columbia QuadSquad puts its undefeated record on the line on Sunday, March 1st at 6:30 pm at the Jamil Temple.
The first game of the season was an unexpected blowout as CQS put together its best collective effort ever and outpointed an overmatched Savannah team 171-51. This next bout should test Columbia as the Sintral Florida Derby Demons come to town. Sintral posted an undefeated 2008 season and had a chance to watch CQS play in November at Jacksonville, while CQS will be seeing Sintral for the first time on the floor of the Jamil Temple.
But fear not... the women of the Columbia QuadSquad will be out for blood as they push to keep their dreams of an undefeated season alive. The bout begins at 6:30 with doors opening at 5:30. And as always, feel free to come and tailgate in the parking lot beforehand.
In addition, keep in mind that the QuadSquad will be hosting the first South Carolina State Roller Derby Championship on April 26. More information to follow.
Spread the word!
Hugs & Bruises,
CQS
