Rogers Park Launches Harvest Celebration October 2, 2010

WHAT: Howard Street Special Service Area (SSA) #19, Rogers Park Business Alliance (RPBA) and Chicago Park District (CPD) invite residents, friends and neighbors to celebrate the changing of the seasons at our big autumn extravaganza with free fun and games for the family!

“Harvest Celebration” will feature FREE hayrides, sidewalk sales, pumpkin sales, market vendors, artists, treats and entertainment. Dress up your pooch and join the costumed Pet Parade at 3:30 p.m. and view artwork by local students in Howard Street storefronts (artwork will be on display for the month of October).

Free and open to the public. Sponsored by Howard Street SSA #19 and Rogers Park Business Alliance.

WHERE: Willye B. White Park, 1610 W. Howard St., and all along Howard Street between Marshfield and Ashland Avenues.

WHEN: Saturday, October 2, 1 – 4 p.m.
