Guitarist Rogerio Souza has been called the "Soul of Brazilian Instrumental Music." He has played on and arranged many records for vocalists such as Ivan Lins, Ney Mattegrosso and Joao Bosco. He is a founding member of the Choro Group No Em Pingo D'Agua and has performed and recorded extensively with his brother, the famed Ronaldo do Bandolim, playing the repertoire of Baden Powell, his original music and that of Pixinguinha and Jacob do Bandolim. He will be joined by guitarist Billy Newman, bassist Leonardo Lucini , percussionist Ranjan Ramchandani and mandolinist/clarinetist Dennis Lichtman for a show of his own Sambas and Choros, the Brazilian Compositions of Billy Newman plus the music of Baden Powell and Pixinguinha amongst other classic composers.
