Rodney Crowell is one of country music’s most successful songwriters. With his autobiographical masterpiece The Houston Kid, Crowell took an unflinching look at down-and-out Houston where he grew up, and he recently returned with Fate’s Right Hand, a similarly ambitious collection in which Crowell scrutinizes himself and those around him.
