Rodney Branigan & The Blues Project October 28, 2008

Branigan calls his music 'progressive folk fusion' that blends rock, folk, flamenco, madrigal, classical, bluegrass and jazz. Playing three instruments at once – two guitars (a 12-string and 6-string) and a tambourine is a real musician with extraordinary talent. The Blues Project is a two-piece acoustic/electric blues band. Garreth (Vocals/Blues Harp/Guitar) and Aviv (Vocals/Guitar/Percussion) are also members of Alternative Rock band SPLIT. Bands and artists like Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton, and BB King, Van Morrison,Otis Redding, buddy Guy, SRV are a big part of their musical tastes.
