Not your typical amateur vocal phenomena, this show puts YOU on stage with a hot four-piece band, in an experience complete with costumes, props, back-up vocals and a screaming crowd. So, if you thought your rock star dreams were just a silly childhood fantasy... Let the spotlight at Sammy's
free the Janis, Tina or Steven Tyler within! The Main Street Rockstar Competition invites daring karaoke singers to act as the band’s lead singer and belt out their favorite tune.

In support of local nonprofits struggling to make a positive impact in the community despite dismal economic conditions, Sammy’s is helping out! With a different non-profit beneficiary every month, Sammy’s will provide participating non-profits with a cash donation equal to 50% of signature drink sales during their dedicated evening.

On November 20, 2009, Sammy’s will host the final Main Street Rockstar Competition,
a face-off between the winners of all the previous competitions. The winner of the final competition will win $500 and will be able to choose one participating non-profit organization to be the recipient of a certificate for a complimentary one-night event at Winter Street Studios for up to 500 people (restrictions apply)with a special catering bonus from Beaver's.Deposit,clean-up and fees for the event may apply. The date of event must be scheduled with and approved by Winter Street Studios.
