ROCKS, ROCK! Gems, Rocks & More! June 5, 2010

The Charlotte Gem & Mineral Club in conjunction with Charlotte Nature Museum is hosting a day of activities relating to rocks, minerals & hand made jewelry.
Activities will include: Sluicing for gemstones, Geode cutting, Jewelry & Craft making.
Junior Rockhound programs, Faceting & Cabochon cutting as well as short presentations on various topics including panning for Gold.
There will be a small fee for Sluice bags & Geodes.
Club members will also be selling rock & mineral specimens as well as hand made Crafts & Jewelry.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the Charlotte Gem & Mineral Club & Charlotte Nature Museum.
