Rockin' Rollin' Ruckus: Rollergettes vs South SImcoe Rebel Rollers July 16, 2011

If you haven’t experience the fast-paced and occasionally violent action of the world’s fastest growing sport, it’s about time you saw some roller derby. Rollergettes (pronounced like “suffergettes”) a team from Toronto’s West End Waywards roller derby league take on the South Simcoe Rebel Rollers, from Barrie July 16th at George Bell Arena. Be sure to come early to check out the merchant marketplace featuring a variety of artisans, as well as a short opening game featuring LOCO, a low-contact roller derby league from London, Ontario. Tickets are only $10 in advance ($15 at the door), or $40 for a group of 5 and kids 12 and under are free! Grab a few friends and make plans to see this group of amazing women in action.
