The Rebels are coming and they want all our Rebel Red!! On July 24th, come take in some history (and some wine) as the 1st Rockbridge Artillery makes camp here at Adams County Winery.
Along with firing demonstrations, they will be conducting a living history and recreating camp life of the War Between the States. These Redlegs recreate a unit that fired the first shots in the Shenandoah Valley and continued with Lee’s Army until the surrender at Appomattox.
The encampment will overlap with one of the Winery’s free summer concerts when the Alfred James Band takes the stage on Saturday the 24th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. So, when you’ve had your fill of the battlefield, ditch the bottled water, get yourself a glass of wine, and enjoy a little bit of history (and music) at Adams County Winery!
