Rock-N-BowlA is kicking off its Tour as a national fundraising event with Team Fox benefiting the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. The tour will showcase the innovation, social media strategies and the power of street teams to show the viral and grassroots power of the indie music scene. Our goal is to raise $200,000 for Team Fox.

Beginning May 18th, in 11 cities in 90 days Rock-N-BowlA will begin its tour at Lucky Strike Lanes in Bellevue, Washington, then moving onto LA Live in California and then will rock east ending in Manhattan in a HUGE ROCK-N-BOWLA blowout. Each event will consist of celebrities from the worlds of music and sports in a high energy celebrity/AM bowling tournament followed by the winners of the Rock-N-BowlA competition, showcasing their music.

For Parkinson's Research
About Team Fox ~ Team Fox was launched in January 2006 as a way for The Michael J. Fox Foundation to support the heroes all over the country who already had made it their personal mission to find uniquely creative and fun ways to raise funds for Parkinson's research. Team Fox provides guidance, tools and resources for the thousands of amazing people all over the world who are walking, running, baking, party planning, paddling, pedaling, and dancing to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson's research.

In Team Fox's first five years, members raised an astounding $12 million. This diverse community of change makers continues to grow and inspire us every day. There is no limit to the creativity and optimism with which the heroes of Team Fox set about making Parkinson's disease a thing of the past.

About The Michael J. Fox Foundation ~ MJFF is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. Our strategic approach targets research that is often overlooked by government and industry funders, but that has the greatest potential to accelerate the delivery of better treatments - and, ultimately, a cure - to the more than 5 million people worldwide with Parkinson's disease. We believe without fail that our goal is within reach - but we can't get there without your support.
