Rock for Obama September 19, 2008

Rock for Obama: September 19, 2008, festivities begin at 7pm hosted by
Garfield Artworks (All ages show) and continue to the 10pm after party
hosted by the Brillobox. The All ages portion of the show features two
guest speakers, voter and volunteer registration, and the featured
bands include an acoustic set by John Huffman, the debut performance
by Big Hurry (dance punk mixed with 80's synth rock), Dawn Canon
(distorted guitar over catchy dreamy melodies, and Axelrod (epic,
melodic rock); suggested donation $5. The afterparty hosted by the
Brillobox will continue at10pm, $5 cover will feature Gene Stovell,
Jack Wilson, Famous Mr. Nobodiez, and Knowledge).
