Rock Art By The Bay June 20, 2009

The Rock Poster Society, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting interest in and awareness of rock posters as an art form, is presenting its annual Rock Art By the Bay on Saturday, June 20, 2009.

Many important poster artists will be showing and selling their work. The artists will range from some who began working during the classic age of the psychedelic rock posters in San Francisco during the late '60's to early '70's, to young artists who are currently producing great posters for today's best bands.

This event is free and open to all.

A related event, the world premeire of "American Artifact", a documentary about the history of rock posters, will take place on the evening of June 20.
