Rock & Run on the River June 7, 2009

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center’s third annual Rock & Run on the River 5K run/walk and celebration takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Hudson River Park’s Pier 84 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Event highlights include the race, live entertainment, fitness classes, lunch, children’s activities, and a special area for survivors. NBC’s Dan Abrams and designer Carmen Marc Valvo will co-chair the post-race party. Proceeds benefit the Cancer Survivorship Initiative at Memorial Sloan-Kettering.
