The Rock and Blues Concert Cruises will return for an eighth season of summer fun and promises to be better than ever. The 2012 series will again take place aboard the Provincetown II operated by Bay State Cruise Company, providing one of the best concert experiences anywhere on Boston Harbor.
This year’s series is expected to include twelve concerts, beginning Saturday June 2 and running through the end of August.
Carbon Leaf will bring their unique blend of indie rock to the Provincetown II on June 22. Blending elements of alt-country, Celtic, and folk, Carbon Leaf is a five-piece outfit from Richmond, Virginia. From humble beginnings, they have gone on to record nine studio albums, including two that reached #3 on the US Heat Billboard Charts.
The 2012 Rock and Blues Concert Cruises sail on the Provincetown II operated by Bay Sate Cruise Company. Cruises depart from the World Trade Center Pier at 200 Seaport Blvd, in the Seaport District of Boston. Cruises board one hour before departure time and last three hours. There is a cash bar and food concessions on board. Ticket holders must be 21+.
Advance tickets may be purchased online at www.rockandbluescruise.com.Online ticketing closes four hours before sailing on the day of the event. If the show is not sold out, tickets will be available at the Bay State Cruise Box Office located at the pier starting 90 minutes before sailing. Rock and Blues Concert Cruises sail rain or shine.
