Security Summit is Rochester's Focal Point for Information Security Education & Training

From October 2-12, 2006, the Rochester Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association, University of Rochester, Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), and area organizations are hosting this Security Summit Conference in conjunction with National Cyber Security Awareness Month. The event will be held at key locations throughout Rochester, including venues at the University of Rochester and RIT.

The SANS Institute is offering the Community SANS format, which offers the most popular SANS courses right here in Rochester. In a small classroom setting, you’ll learn from the professionals with instructors pulled from the best SANS Mentor program and trained by SANS top-rated instructors. The Rochester Security Summit includes 3 educational tracks (Business Professional, Technical, and K-12) and high quality speakers to present best practices, business solutions, compliance strategies, technical solutions, and the most efficient methodologies for today’s security needs.
