Robot Rock at Movida Sat April 22 - Freeform Five

Freeform Five, The UK based electro outfit Freeform Five are coming to the US and will be DJing an exclusive NY date at the Robot Rock party at Movida this Saturday.

The UK press loves FFF - Arena Magazine called their 'Strangest Things' album "'Electrodiscopop perfection" while Dazed and Confused called it "The best pop album of the year". Word called it "The most thrilling and compelling dance debut since Basement Jaxx" and NME declared it "Brash, neon uber-pop. A huge hit." According to the Evening Standard, Freeform Five are "The new lords of the dancefloor".

Freeform Five first came to our attention on Mylo's album (they did the Musclecar track). Then we flipped out over Mylo's remix of their 'No More Conversations' track which is turning heads everywhere. They've remixed everyone from The Delays, Jamie Lidell, Lindstrom, Pink, Alter Ego, Futureheads, Felix Da Housecat, Annie, N.E.R.D. and Mylo (among others) and their music has been remixed by the likes of Mylo, M.A.N.D.Y. and Richard X.

From what we've heard about Freeform Five DJ sets, we are expecting something very special. It's going to be a great show. They'll be joining resident DJ Alex English in the main room.

Downstairs, you can grind away to your heart's content as DJ Wool spins hip-hop and classics.
