Robert Lepage: Das Rheingold April 2, 2011

Two unparalleled artists have joined forces to create a groundbreaking new Ring cycle for the Met: Maestro James Levine and acclaimed Canadian stage director extraordinaire Robert Lepage. Das Rheingold is the Ring’s first instalment, and this production premiered at the Met last spring. Lepage is directing each of the subsequent operas in the cycle for the Met, with Die Walküre set to open on April 22.
