Once again, Bayou Preservation Association offers a solution to help restore one of Houston’s 22 watersheds. Make a difference and participate in the 20th annual Trash Bash, Saturday, March 23 at Cypress Creek (Collins Park) from 8:00 am – 1:30 pm. Volunteers will receive a free lunch, door prizes and a t-shirt for their half-day of dedication. BPA encourages watershed enthusiasts of all ages to help out, rain or shine. The Cypress Creek clean up will stretch across 6.5 miles of waterways, focusing on Cypress Creek, Dry Gulley, Pillot Gully, and Spring Gully, as well as adjacent areas including Kickerillo-Mischer Nature Preserve, Cypress Creek Greenway, Meyer Park, Cypress Creek YMCA, and Collins Park.
