River City Books Poetry Club May 3, 2007

The first gathering of the fledgling River City Books poetry club will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 3, in the store's downstairs meeting area. At this initial meeting the club will decide about how it wishes to proceed in future months. Likely the club will select a book of poems to read for the month ahead (bring suggestions!) and, undoubtedly, treats will be involved. The club will also discuss future open-mike poetry night events.

Participants will receive discounts on selected titles.
