Rivendell Theater Ensemble: Precious Little April 2, 2011

Rivendell Theatre Ensemble (RTE), in association with Chicago DCA Theater, presents the world premiere of 'Precious Little,' written by Madeline George. In 'Precious Little,' Brodie, a forty-something professor of linguistics, learns that her unborn child may have a genetic abnormality that would prevent the child from ever learning language. Through her relationships with several unlikely confidants -- her much younger girlfriend, an elderly speaker of a dying language she's studying, and a gorilla at the zoo -- Brodie struggles to decide whether or not to keep the baby who may or may not ever learn to speak.
