Rivas-Rubin Quartet January 30, 2010

The Rivas-Rubin Quartet is led by veteran jazz guitarist Saul Rubin and up-and-coming drummer Alex Rivas. Performing original tunes by members of the group as well as jazz standards, the Quartet promises to provide audiences with an unforgettable evening of upbeat and sometimes out there jazz. Along with bassist Ben Meigners and pianist Jon Davis, the Rivas-Rubin Quartet's members have performed and recorded with a diverse lineup of musicians, including Roy Hargrove, Jeff "Tain" Watts, Marcus Miller, Jaco Pastorius, John Hicks, Norah Jones, and members of Taking Back Sunday.
