Tinsel Town. From 1929 to the late 1950s, silver screens around the world lit up with Hollywood's biggest and brightest stars. Jean Harlow, Humphrey Bogart, Judy Garland, Clark Gable, Fred Astaire, Ava Gardner and hundreds more captured the hearts of moviegoers far and wide.
This month, we're going to pay tribute to the films and the actors who dazzled the screen during the golden age of cinema!
We truly have an all-star cast this month in our new location at the Canal Club!
Channeling his inner Gene Kelly is Ritz & Revelry's acrobatic tap dancer, Chris Chaos! His performances are sure to have you singin' in the rain!
Portraying everyone's favorite blonde bombshell is Richmond's Marilyn Monroe impersonator (and Ritz & Revelry producer) Dolli Holiday!
Bringing the Ziegfeld Follies flair is the gold-digging duo, The Garter Snaps!
We have another duo in the mix this month. They are the Lucy and Ethel of Richmond and they'll be providing the laughs for the evening, funny ladies Foxy Faux Pas and Indy Go-Go!
Our featured performer this month is a Richmond theater staple. Producer of Starlet's Night's Cabaret Series at the Richmond Triangle Players, we are pleased to have the wonderful musical stylings of Ms. Starlet Knight!
Also making his Ritz & Revelry debut and fresh off the "Lincoln" movie set is Mr. Keydron Dunn!
No movie can be great without a director guiding the actor through the scenes, and that's why we have Richmond's number 1 drag queen Miss Magnolia Jackson Pickett Burnside on hand to take the audience on this movie-magical journey!
Don't miss our cigarette girls, Etta Pancetta and Sally von Streusel as they make their way through the crowd selling some old-timey Ritz & Revelry swag!
