Rittenhouse Square Tree Lightning Ceremony November 30, 2010

The Tree Lighting Ceremony features holiday entertainment from Chestnut Hill Academy and Springside School, ornament making, Rittenhouse Row merchant specials, complimentary elf hats and holiday treats from TD Bank and photos with Santa. Please bring a new unwrapped toy for the Salvation Army's toy of SHaring Toy Drive. Once Santa flips the switch, Rittenhouse Square will be illuminated by 5,000 brilliant, multi-colored globes. These holiday lights will join Philadelphia's largest Christmas Tree -- located in the center of the Square -- to make Rittenhouse Square one of Center City's most festive public spaces for the holidays.
