Rise Against October 2, 2012

Chicago's Rise Against features former members of the late great 88 Fingers Louie. This four-piece punk unit, led by lead vocalist Tim McIlrath, plays a punchy brand of melodic hardcore heavily influenced by bands like Bad Religion, Minor Threat and Bad Brains. Since forming in late 1999, the band has found a surprising level of mainstream success, including six studio albums and their most recent EP, 'Satellite,' but is perhaps best known for their tireless activism efforts, including work with Amnesty International, the It Gets Better Project and more.
