The Anunnaki Project presents RISE, a fundraising event benefiting its theatrical emissary The Cabiri performance troupe. In two evenings of enchanting aerial dance theater in the Movement Studio at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, the Seattle-based nonprofit organization will raise funds in support of its upcoming October presentation of The Ghost Game.
RISE will feature a wide variety of performances including Cabiri company members, guest artists, and students from the company’s current classes, along with guest emcee Christian Jacobsen. Works presented will include “Bannik” and “Firebirds of Paradise,” excerpts from the full-length performance Carpathian Dawn, along with new aerial and modern dance works currently in development. The event will also include a silent auction and raffle, and a no-host bar offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments.
Tickets to RISE are now available via Brown Paper Tickets and range in price from $18.00 (general admission) to $75 (VIP package: includes reserved seating, beverage, ticket to The Ghost Game, and a Cabiri t-shirt). Purchase online at their web site: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/112630 or by calling 800-838-3006.
