Weaving on a rigid heddle loom is one of the most affordable ways to break into weaving. Rigid heddle looms today are very portable, and simple to use, and yet capable of weaving some lovely patterns, or used as tapestry looms.
In this workshop, students will learn to set-up their rigid heddle loom for weaving, and to weave off a complete project. All materials are provided for this informative and inspiring workshop.
Rigid heddle looms are provided for use in the class, or students may bring their own.
This workshop is taught at Bay School of the Arts, in the lovely, Mathews, VA.
