Weaving on a rigid heddle loom is a low-cost way to weave, without limiting the weaver's creative possibilities. It's simple construction makes the rigid heddle loom an easy and accessible way to learn to weave. The basics of setting up the loom, choosing yarns, designing fabrics, weaving, and fringing are all covered in this class. Students are encouraged to bring yarns from their own 'stash' to work with or share. Sportweight yarn is recommended and microfiber yarns are fun! Discover the possibilities of weaving.
Materials fee of $15.00 waived for students who bring their own yarn.
